MOLESKIN:
Great morning to get after it because there was a lot of me that didn’t want to get going. I now feel like I have a jump on the day.

Plan was straightforward, I wanted to utilize the blocks and do a lap format. I graduated the exercise count up and down until I got to the chest presses, with I did x100. Idea was to hit total body with everything we were doing. Upper body push and pull were incorporated into it so I mainly wanted a good circuit workout.

Per Fitbit, I burned 1073 calories and spent 42 minutes in vigorous/peak zones. Win win. For the week, I’m at 126% of my weekly cardio target with everything starting over tomorrow.

I don’t have any delusions that I will make toughest Q, especially with a minute of silence in the gravity stretch position. So to be clear, I’m not asking you to vote for me. And while I don’t usually like to get political in groups, I do want to just say Mike Reichenbach is in a runoff for Lt. Gov. He and his wife Charisse are great people of God, and care about local issues. Not sure where you lean in a party perspective and honestly, that’s not the most important thing. I know that Mike came to an event here in Florence all afternoon and into the evening yesterday when he could have been campaigning anywhere else in the state. He was, point blank, asked to go somewhere else, and he said no. He promised he would be here almost a year ago and he wanted to keep that promise. Others shared of personal stories where the two of them showed up, no fanfare, cameras, or limelight, just to serve others. I want someone like that in Columbia if I can get them there.

This isn’t my normal Moleskin. I don’t usually discuss politics because frankly, the gospel is more important and for some it is a true stumbling block. But the Bible does tell us to pray for our leaders, and that God sets them up to do what He ultimately wants to accomplish. We are a part of that story whether we choose to embrace it or not. Therefore, I would encourage you to vote for Wilson/Reichenbach on this upcoming runoff. Glad to speak to you individually about it, and every vote really matters.

God bless you guys, have a great day and weekend. Olympic guys, drive safe.
