Moleskin:
Twas the night before a worlout out, and it was time to start planning. Past time to start planning indeed. It should have begun much earlier that day. But, you know, time slips away sometimes. So, it’ll start when it starts. So just before bed, I started going ahead and putting things together. A little abs here, a little arms there, a little legs here, you know the drill. Then you know some Four Corners and some 11s sound good.
After a night of good rest, it was time to head to the workout, and off I went. I arrived there and was second to last to arrive, but it was good enough to get started. So we all got together and started working out, going around Hoppa’s Yard. The PAX were speculating as to what the rep count would be. But, you know, it’s the 3rd. So, obviously, it would be 12. Why would it ever be 3?
With the count settled, we do several more exercises going around Hoppa’s Yard. As we did such, I made sure to sprinkle in several “alrighty”s, especially as Big Worm tried to heat up and share body before the first set of exercises. The “alrighty”s were definitely more sporadic this morning.
Once the warm-up was done, it was time to get on over to Ebeneezer parking lot. So, we went on over to the church parking lot and started to do 11s. On the way there, we found a small football and it ended up being something that got tossed around a decent bit until we ended up heading back. It also led into discussions around rugby and some other things as well.
Then, instead of doing another round of 11s, we went straight into a modified Four Corners there, where it’s actually just a regular Four Corners, but not around the tennis courts in this case, unlike when I had initially planned. But it worked out in the end.
Once that was done, it was time for some abs. This would be an audible, but you know, what’s the fun of sticking to the plan all the time. So we Mozeyed on back to the soft surface where abs would happen. While getting some more abs in, and somehow, somehow, those pesky squirrels were able to throw down a small twig from the “trees” down onto my stomach while we were doing gravity stretch (it definitely wasn’t one of the PAX…).
