Moleskin:

It was a nice morning to come out and workout, minus the potential for thunder storms. It was nice and warm when I arrived. There was no rain or sprinkles. So I would need to audible my plan since it was created under the expectation that we would be at the picnic tables the whole time. I mean, we could have stayed stationary, but that would have been a waste. So audible we did. We warmed up around Hoppa’s Yard with a last minute walking through the center of Hoppa’s Yard. Now there were a lot of people who were doing Squats whenever I said alrighty. So I just had to say it. There was no other option officer. So they did a lot of Squats. But I had to throw in the occasional alright to see who was paying attention, for science you know. During the warmup, I had an AARP moment where on the first time we were Moesying to the bottom of Hoppa’s Yard we ended up Moseying all the way to the entrance of Hoppa’s Yard instead of the middle of the bottom. But hey, it fit the abbreviation quite well, so I think it worked out.

After that, we started on the parking lot exercises. Everyone seemed to be doing the Arms, Abs, Running, and Planks just fine. But man, I was starting to feel tired after the second set. My abs were hurting and my old bones were not enjoying the limited rest. So after the third set we went ahead and took a lap around Hoppa’s Yard. Unfortunately, that gave the clouds with their ammo just enough time to arrive before we started the fourth corner. So we finished up the exercises there and headed to the picnic tables to avoid the drizzle. Now some of the PAX might say that we did not need to go to the picnic tables after the 4th corner, but rather before it. And they would be right. The ammo drop really lightened its load by the time we finished the fourth corner. But I wanted to try to avoid getting caught unawares again. So we headed there anyways.

There we got through two rounds of Pull/Chin Ups before it dawned on me that we had more time and I was not about to do 30 or even 40 more of those. So good ol’ audible saved the day with the next set of Arms and Abs tapping in. Thus we got a nicer set of exercises for the last set of AARP. But we had some uninvited guests show up right at the end of the workout. Can you believe that the paparazzi decided to show up and flash us a couple of times? I cannot even begin to imagine the size of the cameras needed to make those two flashes we saw. But they only happened once during our final set of AARP and once during the COT. So they must not have been too interested in those present for AARP. But that is for the best.

I was glad to see Squatter on out this morning. Good job. Also, I was glad to see Big Hurt as well since he is normally a rumbler.

Well, it is about that time again. My body is telling me it is time for a nap after AARP (Arms Abs, Run, and Planks), so I will get going. Have a blessed day!
