The day before the Q there is no plan. So may as well take a shot at it. The 4th of July just passed so that is a great option. Just like the announcement about the declaration of independence this Q about it is 2 days after the fact. So I looked up some facts and found https://parade.com/1047578/lindsaylowe/4th-of-july-facts-history/. Thus the game was a foot.
So we started out with some exercises to warm up. The reps were based on 1776, 7/2, and 7/4. I thought about us doing 76 SSHs, but that sounded a little extreme so things were toned down. The spider merkins were a bit tricky and I forgot to do the inflection on that one, so we had a weird end to that. After the warm up came the pallbearers. Normally there are 4 to 6 of them, so we had 4 exercises. This exercise setup and format was a bit confusing and took a couple of tries to get right. But soon we were on a roll. The partner exercises came next and man did they burn. They burned like the heat of fireworks in my legs. So I am sure everyone was having a bit of a rough time. Bionic was feeling things after the partner exercises. He said he was not feeling too well and I said he would feel things even more once we got to the other parking lot. Then we got there and I called a jailbreak. He made it through just fine. We soon were onto the next exercises and audibled to the hill. There we did a Bernie since Boucher was doing a pre-ruck and explained it to me then. And that was pretty much everything.
Boucher did a pre-ruck, I prewalked and Bionic, myself, and Wee Man did a mile weighted ruck. Bionic and I felt it was a mistake by the end, but he had it worse since he had 100 lbs. I only had 60.
All in all, I thought it was pretty good. We got to go over some 4th of July facts and also have a workout. I hope everyone enjoyed the workout and Bionic has a great beach day!
