***YHC & Knobby quickly confirms that Flanders, yet again, has disseminated bad information. Threadcount was in fact NOT the Q and that meant the PAX were in for a rude awakening.
***YHC hands has everyone partner up, gives instructions, and hands out jump ropes to each dynamic duo. Mosey to the drive way for an “advanced warm-up”.
Thang 1: Partner A: Jumps rope Partner B: Sprints to the end of the drive way performs called exercise and then flapjack. Plank-o-rama for the 6.
Round 1 – 100 Merkins as a team.
Round 2 – 100 LBCs as a team.
Thang 2: Mosey to the playgournd for more pain.
2 Rounds (no partners) –
Round 1 – 10 Squats sprint to the monkey bars and perform 5 squat pull-ups.
Round 2 – 10 Squats sprint to the monkey bars at half court stop and bear crawl to the end of the basketball court. Perform 5 squat pull-ups.
Thang 3: Partner A: Jumps rope Partner B: Sprints to the monkey bars and does pull-ups. Partner B: Alternates between jumping rope and flutter kicks until Partner A returns and then flapjack.
Round 1 – 100 Pull-ups as a team.
Thang 4: Mosey to the brick platforms on the side of the school for more partner action.
Partner A jumps rope while Partner B sprints to the brick platform performs dips & step-ups then flapjack. 50 Dips/50 Step-ups as a team.
Moleskin: As we were in the middle of the barrage of pull-ups and jump ropes, YHC and Knobby conversed about the humidity. We candidly discussed how much we were enjoying the hot box that we’ve affectionately named “The Gloom”. However, in the middle of doing flutter kicks and dripping with sweat like a faucet, we came up with another term. That term was fondly decided upon as “Sweatfest”. Thus, the name of my next backblast was born.
