It was a good morning, but a bit chilly. The workout had been planned the previous morning. But it didn’t fully account for things, so modifications would be necessary. But before that could happen, we needed to stall for time. Thriller, Pinto, and I were there. But it wouldn’t do to start the Indian Run only to leave others behind. So we started with some SSHs. By the time those were done, we had both of the Bigs. So we were off to the races. There was initially going to be a larger warmup, but when I did some napkin math in my head we would run out of time for the main workout, so I opted to remove most of it. Thus we went almost straight into the Indian Run. But even so, it went well.
Next we had the exercises. And for a while there, we had an audience watching us workout as there was a car there with its enhine running not too far away from us. I guess we scarred the person off as they left soon after the Monkey Humpers… But aside from that, things went smoothly (well as smoothly as things can go when you find a wasp’s nest near where you set your winkie…) with the exercises and we were off to the Indian Run back.
Now some might say there were some attempts to stall during the workout, but I will just chalk it up to fun banter. There were a couple of times that a conversation was attempted right as an exercise was being called, but we shall assume that it was not meant to avoid the next exercises (who would ever use such a dastardly tactic…).
Beyond that, there were some “alrighty”s which while doing an work resulted in what looked like a modified Crab Walk since it seemed doing a Squat was out of the question.
All in all, it was some good fun. Thank y’all for letting me lead. Lean into the community we have especially when things get tough. Remember that God is with you even when you can’t see Him or what He is doing.
