THE THANG:

So often as men we allow fear to rule over our lives. Fear can keep from doing what is right, lead us to commit acts we didn’t even realize we were capable of, or even keep us from acting at all.

Our past or even “scary stories” in our lives may lead to us thinking less of ourselves or contribute to Satan whispering self doubt or a lack of worth into our lives. We don’t have have to listen! And even if we don’t feel qualified or perhaps we procrastinate to say “I will get to it next time”…we need to realize that God is in charge and with Him at the helm…how could stand against us. Even when we feel like less, or steering our lives on a path to destruction we need to remember that there is HOPE!

God is in charge and we are not! Philippians 4:13 – says we can do ALL through Christ who gives me strength…so let’s let Him and fully rely on His guidance in our lives!

Take courage men, God has a purpose and a plan for your life and mine, He is not finished with you yet!!

We must remember “Our love for Jesus is greater than our circumstances!”

We read Genesis 1:1-4 – God and creation…it is good…and it all starts with Him and His Sovereignty!

We read Psalm 119:105 – His word is a lamp for our feet and a light unto our path!

We read Matthew 5:14-16 – we are a light of God, not meant to be hidden, but to shine and point other to God! Let our light shine and pursue good works, not for ourselves but to glorify God!

And we wrapped up by Joshua 1:1-17 – “meditate on the word day and night, do what God has written for us to do! Be strong, be courageous, do not be afraid, do not be discouraged…for He is with us, wherever we go!!!

Our homework was to read Psalm 62 – meditating on that!
