Martin Luther King, Jr. Day honors the life and legacy of a man who brought hope and healing to America. He was the father of peaceful protest, and one of the greatest champions of changing our government and our society. He was committed to serving others and making a difference in the community. Today is a good day to reflect on what we can do to serve our communities, no matter how small or big.
The Sunday Syrup route will be dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The route is 6 miles. During the ruck we will reflect on the impact of his accomplishments as well as strategize how can better serve our community individually and as a group.
*There will be NO Patch for this event, but don’t let that keep you from coming and joining us on this special Ruck.
