CONDITIONS: great morning to talk about the mission field!

WARMUP: ? Opening Thought:

“Missions isn’t just across the sea; it’s across the street, the state, and the world.”

As men, we’re wired to build, protect, and serve. But sometimes our view of “mission” is too small—we limit it to something missionaries do, instead of something we are all called to live out, every day.

THE THANG:

? Scripture:

• Acts 1:8 – “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

• Jerusalem = Local

• Judea/Samaria = Regional/National

• Ends of the earth = Global

• Isaiah 6:8 – “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’”

• Matthew 25:40 – “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

? Missions Today – A Real-World Snapshot:

Right now in Poland, churches and mission orgs are serving a growing population of:

• Ukrainian refugees fleeing war and trauma

• Belarusian dissidents fleeing political persecution

• Afghan refugees seeking safety from Taliban rule

They arrive with shattered families, language barriers, legal limbo, and heavy emotional trauma—but they’re also open to kindness, love, and hope.

OM Poland, for example, runs camps and relational ministries where these refugees find rest, community, and often their first real taste of Jesus’ love through people just like you.

? Discussion Questions:

1. LOCAL: What does “mission” look like in your Jerusalem? Who in your neighborhood, workplace, or school is hurting and needs hope?

2. DOMESTIC: How can we as F3 men live missionally in our own country? (Think: disaster relief, inner-city mentorship, veteran support, foster care.)

3. GLOBAL: What keeps us from seeing the needs around the world—places like Poland where refugee families are desperate for help and healing?

4. PERSONAL: Where is God calling you to “go”? (This doesn’t have to mean travel—it might mean giving, praying, advocating, or stepping into a new relationship or cause.)

? Practical Ideas to Live It Out:

• Local: Volunteer with a shelter, ESL classes, or youth ministry. Invite your neighbor over for dinner.

• Domestic: Join or fund a short-term mission trip, support an org like Samaritan’s Purse or Eight Days of Hope.

• Global: Partner with a group serving refugees (like OM, Send Relief, or local churches in Poland). Send care packages. Pray intentionally for displaced peoples.

MOLESKIN:

“Don’t ask God to send someone else. Ask Him to send you—to your street, your city, and even to the ends of the earth. Don’t wait for the perfect moment. Start living missionally today.”

Prayer:

“Father, give us eyes to see the broken, ears to hear the cries of the hurting, and feet willing to go where You send us—across the street or across the globe. Help us be men on mission, wherever we are. Amen.”
