MoleSkine: Sharpie gave us some great advice and statistics from the marriage retreat he went on this weekend.
From Sharpie post in Slack:
Men, I want so share so scary statistics I learned this weekend.
47% of first marrages end in divorce, 86% of 2nd, and 92% of the third.
Statistics of fatherless homes is even worse, 90% of prison inmates, 41% of poverty families, 63% of youth suicides, 90% of teen runaways, 80% of rapists, 71% of teenage pregnancy, 85% of children with behavior issues, and 71% of high school dropouts.
Men, it is incredibly important to learn how to have a successful marriage and lead our families. Prioritize your family over all earthly things. Seek out a community of people who are going to hold you accountable, reach out to someone who’s gone before you and ask them to mentor you. It will be the best decision you ever made.
