“There is no neutral ground in the universe: Every square inch, every split second, is claimed by God and counterclaimed by Satan.” – C.S. Lewis

How can we bring honor to God with our time? Spend time in His word, Spend time in prayer, Intentional time with family, F3 Brothers, friends, learning… and the list goes on. However, we fall short by wasting time. We can bring honor to God by how we interact with each other and invest in each other as F3 brothers.

“The manner in which a man employs the surplus of hours after provision has been made for work, meals, and sleep will make him either a mediocrity or a man to be reckoned with.” – J. Oswald

You can’t be involved with everything. What should you be investing your time in during this season of your life?

What is a Spiritual Gift? A spiritual gift is a special ability that God gives to each Christian. This gift (or gifts) enables you to honor and serve God and his people.

Every single one of us has gifts and talents. We have skills and interests. We can honor God by using them to serve others and in service to the Kingdom.

It is important to know your gifting, but more important to use it.

We will share on messenger a good tool/resource to help you identify your gifting.

Write down some ways you are or can honor God with your talent.

Psalm 24:1 says “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;”

  1. God Owns it all:
  2. Everything you have is a gift from God.
  3. Everything you have is to be used to honor God.
  4. As a manager of God’s treasures, you must be faithful.

We are simply the managers of the treasure (House, Car, Money, Stuff…). God Owns it. I know I struggle in this area and I’m sure if you’re honest with yourself you have struggled here too. You can look at all that you’ve accumulated over you life and take 100% credit for your possessions. “Look at all I have accomplished… I’m super awesome!” Hopefully, you see how silly this thinking is. And if you’ve read this far down I know you see that as a foolish statement. We can also look at it as “God sure has been good to me. I give my 10% and he has blessed me the ability to accumulate all this stuff… My God sure is good.” But, as the verse is very clear above, everything is God’s… Yes… Even that boat, Even your Traeger/Green Egg, Even your 401k, Bitcoin, Hoka’s, GR1, GR2…. It’s all His! Our job is to be good and faithful stewards and recognize that it’s all His and should be used to honor and glorify Him.

List some ways you can honor God with your possessions as a faithful manager.

‘ “Don’t store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves don’t break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. ‘ Matthew 6:19-21

Reflect on your attitude about Time, Talent and Treasure. Is it competing with God?

  1. Squatter’s heart rate never came down from his run. Pray for that to regulate.
  2. Squatter is taking on a new role at Virtus academy so he is asking for prayers for that as well as his teacher assessment/certification.
  3. Squatter and his M are expecting Number 7 (to be named 7) in March!!! Prayers for a healthy pregnancy!
  4. Belding’s shoulder
  5. Unspoken requests
