THE THANG:

We read through Romans 2 – Paul is calling all Jews and gentiles to walk carefully with a heart of repentance!

Pauls reminds us that the Lord will judge, according to truth, according to our deeds (which is a response to our heart and a faith that saves), and according to the Light a person has (Jesus Christ).

We were reminded about the dangers of self-righteousness and that this a response of rejection toward God. It’s easy to be self-righteous when at someone else’s expense. So remember the role you play, whether swinging the stick, or receiving it…have an attitude that glories God. Read Psalm 62

We each have a decision daily to pick up our cross or our mask, which do we choose? Sin is like candy covered poison, it’s may look good, but it bears no fruit and produces no nutrients.

We discussed the difference between faith and being religious. We all need the Gospel.

We wrapped up our time discussing circumcision as it relates to being a covenant with the Lord! Hold up your end, and don’t get “get off”! ?

PRAYER REQUEST:

Squatter asked for prayers – relationship with M, also reminded us to see our wives as treasure we should never cease pursuing!!

Mr Rogers asked for prayer for a young couple he is counseling for marriage. Grace & Will – she has breast cancer, so pray for healing and comfort in this journey and the difficulty of navigating that and planning for a wedding.

MOLESKINE:

Matthew 18:20 – “what a man treasures, there his will be also”, tomorrow is a new day! Let’s walk in a manner worthy of that to which we have been called! With humilty, loving-kindness and gentleness!
