WARMUP: Asked the guys to share their high and lows of the week.

THE THANG: 1 Corinthians 13:1-8,13 studied the passage observing that everything we do should be motivated by love. Love for God and love for others.

Asked ourselves questions; what motivates us as men? What is our motivation?

Then looked at Mark 12: 28-31 Greatest commandment love God and love people. Our motivation should be love. Without love everything we do is meaningless. Without God’s love we would be nothing and lost.

John 13:34-35 Jesus was motivated by love and we are to love as He did/does. 2 Corinthians 5:14 Jesus’ love compels us. Is it compelling you? We should love on people but the greatest love we can show them is telling them about Jesus.

Closing questions and challenge was examine your heart and what your motivation is; Is your motivation love for God and others? How and why do I serve and how do I care for my family, friends, coworkers?
