YHC read some nuggets from the first three chapters in the book, The True Measure of a Man and encouraged discussion on various points.

Men tend to put up a facade to look good and that hides their shame or perceived inadequacies according to someone they are trying to seek approval/acceptance (themselves, work, a friend, etc).

We should seek Gods forgiveness and follow his guidance. Be compassionate men and not what we thought was masculinity at a young age.

A lot of us were misled by bad influences, fallen culture, media on what being a man truly is in this life.

Check your EGO!  Think about your toes!  

And like Mr. Rogers said at the end, As we grow closer to God and learn more, we need to pass newfound wisdom and heavenly purpose down to our sons, friends, and people we meet to help change our community for the better.
