The thang: Mosey over to back wall and pax wall crawl length of the wall, think bear crawl but with feet on wall and hands on ground.

Mosey over to stations.

Station 1, big rope swings

Station 2 little jump rope

Station 3. Sandbag clean and press

Station 4, renegade rows

Station 5, Wee man’s blocks to toes exercise

Station 6, sandbag squats

Station 7, step ups

The timer, walk to one side to the other only on a small plank of wood for each foot. Rotate after timer completes

2nd thang, Mosey over to ditch with big rope, pax split up with half in the ditch and half up top

Pax took turns trying to traverse down the rope. Green Egg Mighty Mike Frodo Spirit Fingers did really good, rest of us not so much

Mosey back over to parking lot to play tug of war in rotating teams.

I had some dumb ideas that I knew could work and could also fail, something about doing dumb things together makes it fun and working muscles we don’t typically use is always a bonus. Everyone was caught off guard how awkward and uncomfortable the floor is Lava was so that’s good.

Sometimes we plan things and it dosnt work out the way we expect. But that’s a good thing. It helps us learn and grow and lead better. Failure is a way better teacher than success. Hopefully pax who havnt q’d before can take encouraging from the fact sometimes Evern the most seasoned q gets something wrong.
