THE THANG
1- Bucket Toss
Team Zebra (age 3-6) line up away from
Bucket and try to land various size footballs and frisbees into laundry basket.
Team Shark (age 7-10) play supervisory staff and stand behind bucket to audit progress.
If item lands but bounces out: 3 burpees for adults
If item lands and stays, 5 burpees.
Swap teams upon team completion.
Mixed running to light pole and back with 10 jump squats upon cadence established as team Zebra worked. Goal: allow team Shark freedom to lead.
2- Bombs Away:
• Origin story: tennis court, tired of tennis, balls everywhere, let’s have fun with a time-bound game. Line up shoulder to shoulder along Line of Cones. Q chooses Pax as front or back, mixing ages fairly equally. Front team vs back team. Goal: at the end of 60 seconds, whoever has the least amount of tennis balls on their side wins. Side/net is marked by cones. Round one- throwing allowed (bad call if not on a court, with more than 4 people). Round two: rolling/bowling only. Can’t hold tennis balls more than 3 seconds. Winner: 5 burpees; loser 10, each round
3- Kids vs Adults soccer. Adults limited to level 3 of 10 speed and skill. Kids encouraged to break into group of 3, work together, pass ball. Cones abbreviate
Goal width to 3’. Field length: 50 yards? Real goals were already in place. Goals = 5 burpees for other team.
4- Kids vs adults mega kickball (12” ball :disguised_face:). Kids allowed 5 outs. Adults can peg with ball if kid is theirs. Base spacing: 15 yards? Runs result in opponent completing 5 Bonnie Blairs. Outs: opponent 5 burpees
